The flirt pole is extendable and can be up to 90 cm long with a 100 cm rope - toy included and replaceable.
What is flirt pole?
It is a form of training that focuses on the dog's physique, where you train speed, body control and fitness. The mental part is activated with the help of a flirt pole, where the dog can express its hunting instincts, especially in dogs that hunt with their eyes. This activity is also relationship-building as it requires good cooperation between you and your dog.
Things to consider:
Before you start training with the flirt pole, you should have a WELL WARMED-UP dog to reduce the risk of injury and wear and tear on the dog's body. The warm-up can consist of a walk of about 20-30 minutes.
Having a good surface where the dog can get a good grip is a must. Choose a larger area with grass without pits or holes, check the surface to make sure it is dry and free of objects that the dog can run into.
To minimize the risk of injury;
? If the grass/ground is damp, DO NOT train
? Asphalt, DO NOT exercise
? Avoid quick stops, jumps and tight turns regardless of the surface.
Flirt pole training involves the dog running/sneaking and chasing the fighting ball, back and forth, around in a circle in both directions.
The intensity of the game/training varies as you are the one in control. If you have a dog that gets stressed easily, train with short repetitions and lots of breaks before the dog gets into a rut. Be clear and interrupt in time.
How often and for how long?
Once the dog is properly warmed up, the training lasts about 10-20 minutes per session. You can train Flirtpole 3-4 times a week.
If you have a dog that is not used to it, start with 5-10 minutes and gradually increase weekly.
A passport might look like this:
× Take out the flirt pole and command the dog to lie down or sit down.
× Walk a little distance away, start dragging the combat roll behind the hill and give the command "go ahead". The game/training has begun.
× When the dog has chased it for a while, reward the dog by letting it catch it, then give a command, for example "let go" and ask the dog to lie down or sit down again.
× When the dog is collected and calm, continue just as you started the activity.
Clear commands, rewards and passivity between repetitions are key.

It definitely is a bit pricey for us, but so far the performance fits the price. We have only used it about 3 times now, but it seems very durable. Perfect size and probably the fastest way to tire out my GSP. This flirt pole has significantly increased his toy drive- he usually doesn’t like toys that much, but the chase is what he lives for. I did switch out the toy, because he wasn’t interested at all in the toy that came with it and the one I switched it out with also has bungee and is perfect for tug, so when he captures the toy I grab it with my hand and continue the game with tug. Overall I’m very pleased with the product, but I think it could come without the extra toy and then be 5€ cheaper;) definitely recommend for dogs who have strong prey drive- as this is a nice outlet for them! Shipping was fast and smooth.
Superbra träningsredskap!
Sigge älskar att springa och jaga efter den här leksaken, men den är också perfekt för träning! Vi använder den för att öva på impulskontroll, att inte gå på första instinkt, utan vänta på tillåtelse och för att träna på “släpp”- kommandot. Så mycket kul och nyttigt man kan göra med den! 😍
Vi använder oss av längre "spö", kortare snöre och en väldigt lätt tross i vår hemmagjorda flirtpole. Alltså raka motsatsen till er. Svårt att använda så tung flirtpole till våra snabba pitbulls
Dyr o känns inte alls så stadig som jag trodde tyvärr. Har du en hund som kanske inte släpper lär repet /leksaken i änden ge sig snabbt! Not corso proof 😂
Jag har inte ens fått den än. Fick SMS från UPS att de inte kunde leverera hem till mig och att jag skulle få nytt SMS när den finns att hämta på utlämningsställe. Jag har inte fått ngt pantning nu har det gått säkert 2 veckor. Hur ska jag få min produkt? Eller pengarna tillbaka?
Jag har inte fått varan överhuvudtaget, svårt och veta om den är bra eller inte. UPS klarar inte av att leverera varan och kundtjänsten på hundstaff går inte att få tag på. Kommer inte att beställa någonting därifrån fortsättningsvis.

Wow! Sjukt smidig att använda och vår hund blev så trött! Jätte bra träning för både kroppen och hjärnan, för maximal träning så rekommenderar vi denna starkt! Bra gjort ännu en gång Hundstaff!
